About Carmella Designs

Lezlie Cobb is the creative spirit and founder of Carmella Designs, LLC. This jewelry design business was created for fashion conscious people who appreciate the beauty, value and significance of one-of-a-kind jewelry.

No two pieces are exactly alike. Pendants can be interchangeable on some of the necklaces. They are uniquely constructed to work alone or to accept a pendant, creating one's own design. Lezlie’s jewelry is truly versatile.

Lezlie senses the energy in each stone she works with to create a piece. There is a genuine connection with the stones that she developed instinctively from years of studying and experiencing the magical world of gemstones. She has taken that talent and used it to design her unique line of jewelry.

She began to develop her appreciation for gemstones back in the days when she was enamored by the "New Age" crystal craze of the late 1980's and 1990's. During that time, she was a bit of a free-spirit. She has never lost that excitement and willingness to allow her gift to guide her. But she has matured and combined the instinct with study and exposure, leading her to a much greater understanding of gemstones.

Free-Spirited Adventurer

The eccentricity in her has led her to seek and discover new experiences... and always new gems. She especially loves to travel with her husband and Standard Poodles. In fact, it was on a trip to the northern coast of California, in Carmel, that her best friend persuaded her to start a jewelry business, and the name Carmella Designs was born.

Wherever she goes, she is always looking for new discoveries. Her studio is filled with catalogs, photographs, and "rocks" she has acquired from her research, studies, and travels. Every one of the gemstones and pearls that will become part of her jewelry, are hand-picked by her, ensuring each piece is unique and set apart from the rest. She has a passion for art and attention to detail which comes through each unique design.

Lezlie loves her work. An inseparable extension of who she is, deeply influenced by a love of life's beauty and wonder. She fills each of her creations with positive intention, and has turned this passion into an entrepreneurial adventure.

Our Jewelry

Carmella Designs jewelry is made with sterling silver and gold for durability. Gemstones, fresh water pearls, pave diamonds, and Swarovski crystals are included. All materials are sourced from the most reputable vendors. Please see our Jewelry Care section on caring for your jewelry.

Jewelry Industry Participation
Lezlie's studio is located in Fort Worth, Texas. She does "Trunk Shows" all over the U.S., in your home or your store.
